With thousands of participants, KingKong Technology concluded the World Robot Conference with a dazzling success.

Accuracy of 0.0001°, driving the future of motion technology.

World Robot Conference (WRC)

The five-day 2024 World Robot Conference concluded yesterday in Beijing. Highlighting technological innovation and application achievements, the expo featured 169 enterprises showcasing more than 600 innovative products.

KingKong Technology, as a core supplier of robotic components, delivers magnetic encoders with the world's most compact form factor, offering ultra-high 24-bit resolution and arc-second accuracy.

As a pioneer in next-generation magnetic encoders, KingKong Technology applies a patterned measurement principle similar to that of optical encoders. This allows our products to achieve performance comparable to optical encoders while offering higher environmental resistance. They can operate reliably in extremely complex conditions, delivering optimal precision with the smallest footprint.

On-site

Our booth drew an overwhelming crowd, becoming one of the most eye-catching spots in Hall E. Among the packed aisles, it was KingKong's signature red that stood out and captured everyone's attention.

Social impact

Magnetic encoders may sound complex, but at KingKong Technology we've made them easy to understand. With our fun angle game, visitors of all ages can explore the science behind robotics—making high tech simple, playful, and approachable.

In the game, each player takes turns rotating a shaft equipped with KingKong's 24-bit magnetic encoder, competing to see who can stop closest to a randomly assigned target angle. Spectators can watch changes as small as 0.0001° in real time—experiencing the unmatched precision of a 24-bit encoder while enjoying the thrill of head-to-head competition.

In this game, the 24-bit magnetic encoder divides a full 360° rotation into 2²⁴ steps, which equals 360/(2²⁴) ≈ 0.00002° per step. To achieve the 0.0001° resolution used in the game, at least a 22-bit encoder is required, since 360/(2²²) ≈ 0.00009°.

Without the ultra-high resolution of a 24-bit encoder, this game would hardly be possible. By turning a complex principle into a simple, hands-on experience, KingKong Technology makes advanced science approachable for everyone. As players compete with excitement, they witness how the encoder captures even the tiniest shifts in mechanical angle—discovering the fascinating charm of precision technology through play.

This reflects the dedication of KingKong's team in physics, mathematics, and electronics—contributing not only to the advancement of robotics, defense, aerospace, and automotive technologies, but also to society and the next generation. It is our small yet meaningful way of sharing knowledge, and we hope it inspires more young people to engage in fundamental research and development.

Over the five-day event, thousands of visitors joined our angle game to experience high technology rooted in fundamental physics. Many participants proudly took photos after achieving impressive results—transforming their initial curiosity of "What exactly is a magnetic encoder?" into excitement when they hit the 0.0001° mark. Their smiles were the best recognition of KingKong's dedication and hard work.

Future

We believe that in the future, KingKong will continue to deliver even more advanced products for the industry and for humanity—bringing the future closer, and making it truly within reach.
